DOMESTIC STEEL MILLS JOIN FORCES TO RAISE PRICES
US Steel and Arcelor jumped on board with CSI, Nucor and AK Steel to raise steel prices. I’ve already seen some foreign mills back off previously quoted prices with anticipation of raising prices also. We will keep our eye on the markets, but I expect more increases after this first round settle in. The domestic mills want to raise prices further and they will as soon as the momentum gets behind them.
